Full-text search
The search via the simple search slot is a cross-field full-text search. It is located at the top of every page of the Online collection.
Upper and lower case letters, punctuation marks, diacritical marks and filler words are ignored in this search.
Objects precisely assigned to the search term and similar objects are found. With the * (wildcard) all objects are found.
Search results, sorting and filters
Sorting:
On the search results pages of the full-text search and the detailed search, the search results can be sorted in ascending or descending order according to object names or dates using the “Sort” field at the top of the page:
- Arrow up = Sort in ascending order: from A to Z, from earliest to latest year.
- Arrow down = Sort in descending order: from Z to A, from latest to earliest year.
Results:
The number of search results to be displayed on a page can also be selected at the top of the page using the “Results” selection field.
Scroll function:
At the bottom of the page, the number of pages currently displayed is shown. The scroll function takes you to the next or back to the previous pages.
Filters:
Filters can be used to search for individual topics or to refine the search result. Set filters can either be removed individually or all together using the “Reset all” button.
Detailed search
The detailed search form can be used to search precisely for individual fields. Several fields can be combined to refine the search.
If the search was unsatisfactory, the page with the detailed search form can be called up again using the “New search” button.
