Object description
The rod puppet represents one of Princess Parysada's brothers from the play “Baśń o pięknej Parysadzie / Fairy Tale of the Beautiful Parysada”. The play is based on the story “Baśń o pięknej Parysadzie i o ptaku Bulbulezarze/Tale of the Beautiful Parysada and the Bird Bulbulezar” by the author Bolesław Leśmian from 1913. The play has been staged for children by various puppet theaters in Poland since the 1950s. Like in Opole in 1958.(23.11.2024 MP)
