Object description
The figure probably depicts the character of the Vain One from the story “The Little Prince” by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. He wants to be admired by those visiting his planet. He tips his hat when he is applauded. Lore Lafin has given the character a large orange hat. She has given his costume a modern look using various colorful fabrics. Lafin also designed the other characters in the story of the Little Prince. However, these are not in the KOLK 17 collection. Lafin made figures for the puppeteer Rudolf Fischer. (24.11.2024 MP)
