Object description
This is a marionette with nylon threads. The female figure is wearing a blue tulle skirt and a turquoise sleeveless top, as well as blue high-heeled shoes. The figure's face is elongated: the nose is protruding and the front teeth are visible. The eyes are highlighted in a strong shade of blue. The figure has brown hair and a hair ornament. Lore Lafin deliberately wanted to create expressionist and mask-like figures in order to create a modern figure design in the German post-war period. It is not known to KOLK 17 whether and where the figure was performed. (25.01.2025 MP)

Object history
The marionette was purchased directly from the then TheaterFigurenMuseum in 1993 as part of a collection of various figures by the artist and maker of the figure, Lore Lafin. The title “Lady with 2 incisors” was noted in the files. (22.11.2024 MP)
